FAQsIs the Vote Manufacturing campaign in anyway favouring one party? No. The campaign is completely apolitical and its sole aim is to try to focus all the political parties on the crucial role that manufacturing has to play in the future of the UK. My organisation has useful data; can we be included?Yes, absolutely. This is a campaign for everyone in manufacturing and as you will see in our industry reports section, content has been included from ERA Foundation as well as the EEF who have done great work to bring manufacturing to the forefront of debate. Why have I not heard of this before? The action came on the back of the Future of UK Manufacturing Summit and it was felt that with the election fast approaching it was a crucial time to follow up on the good work started at this event. What else is happening? We are promoting this campaign to national, local and business press as well as through submitted questions to party leaders. We will continue to promote the importance of manufacturing to the success of the UK economy, but it takes all of us together to make a change. How can I help?Sign up on the 'I Want to Help' page and spread the word to colleagues. |
